“ Favourite place to eat! Local, fresh food at affordable prices! and delicious! staff are so so lovely and always very friendly. Made very welcome with my baby when I have the pram/need high chair best to book in advance we love the pavilion! Sat outside today in the lovely sunshine for lunch but breakfast/brunch is always superb! So lucky to have this wee place in our town but in a quiet location that is nice and relaxed! ”

Couldn't believe the beautiful food that arrived at our table - really scrumptious - definitely best baguette, chips and coleslaw I have ever tasted. “ This is one of my favourite places to eat out, and i don't manage to visit here nearly enough. The food is always fantastic (my photos don't do it justice) generous plates filled with the best ingredients that have been cooked with passion. Rosie knows how to combine flavours to make you enjoy eating so much that you forget to speak to the person you're with! It's a lovely place to sit, there's a nice relaxed atmosphere here, and plenty of space so you don't feel you're lugging into other people's conversations. What's really enjoyable is hearing how the younger staff are encouraged and praised. In between cooking her fantastic food Rosie pops in and out of the kitchen keeping an eye on things and chatting to everyone, I think she must know everyone in Montrose. Make sure you book as there's only a few tables and a tiny kitchen. ”
